Ramblewild Tree-to-Tree Adventure Park

Ramblewild is a new tree-to-tree adventure park, nestled on 1400+ acres in the Berkshires and BRIGADE was asked to create a complete brand identity for them. Ramblewild is a part of Feronia Forests – a Certified B Corporation dedicated to preserving forestland for current and future generations. The goal of Feronia Forests protects nature by encouraging others to participate in it.

Project deliverables included everything from developing a brand mark and a color palette, to a print campaign that would appeal to young urban professional “weekend warriors,” and everything in between. One of our favorite projects was the dimensional invitation we created for Ramblewild’s grand opening. We utilized special folds and die cuts to portray the magnificent forest and the exhilarating experience the park offers.

One of our first tasks was to establish a brand voice, something that really encapsulated the experience and spoke to the unique mixture of trepidation and exhilaration you experience when soaring among the trees at Ramblewild. Because we believe that a trip to Ramblewild is an experience changes the way you connect with the world around you, we needed a brand rallying cry. We drafted the call to action “Live Young, Run Free, Ramble Wild.” And with that in mind, we designed a beautiful, responsive parallax website that uses action-oriented photography and language to help communicate the intensity and heightened emotion of the Ramblewild experience.

To build out our advertising campaign, website and print collateral, we needed an extensive library of badass action photography. We were lucky to secure NYC-based advertising photographer Paul Aresu. Paul has lent his creative vision to companies ranging from American Express, Budweiser and Pepsi to NASCAR, Nike and Under Armour. His photography has graced the pages of Sports Illustrated and Men’s Health. Oh and he’s shot the likes of PGA Pro Phil Mickelson, NFL Star Peyton Manning and NBA phenom Kobe Bryant. So… there’s that.

BRIGADE was also responsible for outdoor and digital advertising, a tri-fold brochure, tickets, t-shirts, custom helmets, signage and custom typography for all marketing collateral. We also designed trail signs that utilized topography lines, modern and dramatic typography and colors to create trail signs that were not only informative, but also striking.

Ramblewild partnered up with Crave Fishbar in NYC to create co-branded coasters with a QR code that would redirect Crave customers to a specialized mobile destination site that offers a discount on tickets.

BRIGADE also built out an entire Ramblewild store, making suggestions for products, designing custom t-shirts, hats, onesies, sweatshirts, decals, water bottles, gift cards and other merchandise.
